The FLIR's E53 advanced thermal imaging camera offers an entry-level unit ideal for electrical and mechanical applications. Aimed at improving plant reliability, increasing plant safety and making your work day easier, the E53 offers superior resolution and range performance to help quickly identify hot spots and uncover potential points of failure in electrical distribution and mechanical systems or find hidden deficiencies and document problems in building applications more quickly and efficiently.
Even as an entry-level camera, the E53 features a 240 x 180 (43,200 pixels) IR resolution and selectable object temperature ranges of -20°C to 120°C (-4°F to 248°F) and 0°C to 650°C (32°F to 1200°F). Additionally, this camera has a manual focus and several measurement presets including no measurement, center spot, hot spot, cold spot, 3 spots and hot spot-spot (hot spot to center spot Delta measurement). MSX® technology embosses visual details on a full resolution thermal image. The Li-ion battery can be charged in the camera or on a separate charger and provides up to 2.5 hours of battery life during typical use.
